William Van Tassel

Broker and CEO William Van Tassel has personally been serving the real estate lending needs of this niche market for over thirty years. William is a native to California and was raised on a large-scale commercial beef cattle operation in Linden. Academically, he holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. Over his 30-year lending career he has originated commercial agricultural real estate loans to nearly every institutional lender that originates loans to farmers in California. Loans have been originated on a variety of agricultural properties, such as orchards (almonds, stone fruit, pistachios, chestnuts, cherry, olive, citrus & walnuts), grapes (table, raisin & wine) and irrigated field crops (cotton, vegetables, hay, grains, rice, melons & tomatoes). Loans have been placed on properties located as far north as Marysville and as far south as Bakersfield. His personal vision is to “Comprehensively serving the real estate lending needs of farmers throughout California.”
